Juniors

Juniors from the age of 4 are welcome at Helen's Bay Tennis Club. Junior tennis starts at Easter and continues until the end of August or September. We enter teams in the Belfast and District Leagues, and have various tournaments and club events during the season, as well as several coaching courses.

Some of the junior coaching for both members and non-members will take place on Saturday mornings (details on the coaching page). Following the coaching on Saturday morning there is a Junior Club, run by Rosemary, for members only. These sessions are to practice playing competitively and there will be no coaching. 

Saturday Morning Junior Club for members will start in April.

• 12.30 - 1.00pm Match Play Orange/Green Court 8-11yr olds
• 1.00 - 2.00pm Match Play Full Yellow 11+ yr olds

Members don't need to book for Saturday's Junior Club, but we do need contact details and permission forms, which can be downloaded from this website, and will be available at the courts. We welcome parental involvement, and are happy for parents to stay and watch. We have two trained Children's Officers: Stephen Leach (07980 742513) and Fiona Gouk (07762 903489).
